The discovery processes are segmented into three categories:
The Digital Scan's accuracy depends on the quality of the data provided. The insights generated are only as reliable as the input data available for each participant.
The Natural DNA Behavior Discovery performance has been monitored since December 2009 on a regular basis, using new data that is received from participant usage. In December 2013, the original model was reviewed based on a randomly selected sample of 10,000 users. A statistical re-norming exercise showed no material differences that would necessitate changes to the factor scoring model.
The Natural DNA Behavior Discovery has been used in over 125 countries and translated into 14 languages. Leading universities have utilized it extensively for training and research purposes, and, as of December 31, 2025, 3.5M+ Full Scans and 275M+ Digital Scans have been completed.
In 2023, DNA Behavior also established the Behavioral Economics Institute as a collaborative endeavor to gain deeper research-based insights for making personality discovery more understandable, usable, and impactful in all areas of life and business.
In 2026, a further psychometric study was done with 6,000 participants to test the accuracy of the Full Scan, 17-question Quick Scan, and Digital Scan, which confirmed that Digital Scan is now 80% to 85% accurate.
